Tov Coffee in Portland, Oregon ft Sunrise Coffee

This is a special edition of great places to dine! This edition takes place in Portland, Oregon! The Pacific Northwest is well-known for the coffee, no sun, and hipsters. Tov Coffee is a great coffee shop located in a double-decker bus in Portland. Located in Hawthorne, Tov blends Egyptian coffee with the quirkiness of Portland. Tov offers a variety of unique coffees and desserts in a charming environment. In the winter, the bus is heated and in the spring and summer, the bus is fully open to take in the great views of Portland. Any of the coffees can be modified to be vegetarian/ vegan-friendly. Almond Milk, especially, is a lower calorie option that still imparts creaminess and full-body flavor to coffee beverages. Added sugar can add up the calories; it’s best to ask the barista if the beverage comes pre-sweetened and if they can decrease the sweetness level or not include sugar at all. Well-brewed coffee has a natural sweetness and is best appreciated without extra sugar. Many of the specialty drinks Tov (and places like Tov) have a slight sweetness from the addition of syrups, but it still has the rich, boldness of coffee and the syrups help to compliment the taste. If you’re not able to travel to Portland, Sunrise Coffee in the Green Valley/Henderson area offers deliciously brewed coffees, vegan/ vegetarian-friendly and gluten-free friendly pastries as well as tasty dining options. It’s a wonderful place to get some coffee, do some studying and meet some friendly students from UNLV (or run into people you dislike from high school). If the coffee shop environment isn’t your thing, Sunrise Coffee sits across the street from beautiful Sunset Park.
